If you want an affordable Thai resto far from those located in the malls at a very affordable prce i can recommend two. One is SR THai located along P, Noval St beside UST with a branch along Katipunan Road in front of the ADMU. There is also one in Marikina at the Marikina Market called Krung Thai. Both owned and operated by Thais. Prices would start for as low as Php 200 per head on 2 viands, SR serves good bagoong rice, chicken pandan and beef basil while Krung has their hot and sour mixed seafood especialty. Very Happy

Not really fond of Thai food because of the coconut milk...
But I do love Thai noodles, especially Pad Thai. Which one has a better menu?

Try this out, SOM's thai resto. It's cheap and good

Bagoong Rice (P95+). This is home-made bagoong rice and it resembles that of Sukho Thai except that the presentation was toned down.

Green Curry (P102+).

Pad Thai (P102+).

Som's Noodle House
1766 N. Garcia St. Corner Milagros St. Brgy. Valenzuela, Makati City

There's also a branch and timog/tomas morato area and the one at the back at rockwell.

Also try THAI SILK at Serendra in fort bonifacio for a more "sit down" dinner feel. average tab is about php450.

Fully agree po. Naka kain na ako dito over and over and over talaga ang sarap dito. Even just the plain bagoong rice with the vegie Lumpia is very good. The Pad Thai is very nice. Sayang back in 2005 they had very nice looking waitresses in P.Noval... wala na ngayon... the food goes very well with beer.
